Ceylan Uşaki Erali
Social Designer / Facilitator
Ceylan is a social designer, learning designer and a facilitator with a human-centered approach. For about 15 years she has contributed both to social impact-oriented and commercial projects in the fields of design research, design strategy, product-service-system design and learning design.
Starting from her BA in Industrial Product Design at Istanbul Technical University, she contributed in several social impact focused projects as social designer, coordinator, executer or supporter voluntarily or professionally. In the years following her master's degree in Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands; she continued her higher education with Cultural Management master’s programme in Istanbul Bilgi University where she also worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years. Then, during her year in Morocco, she joined the community of the first co-working space (insane!) established in Casablanca where she designed and implemented creative urban workshops and contributed to strategic planning of the association for short and long term. Later, she has supported ATÖLYE in process design and facilitation in impact focused projects for 2 years. In 2018, she co-founded ara studio, an organisational change studio which exists to empower organizations, teams and individuals to adapt changing context.
