İrem Topçuoğlu

İrem graduated from Media and Communications at İstanbul Bilgi University in 2017. In her 3rd year, she started an internship at Pozitif with the Babylon team. The internship lasted for two years until her graduation. During her studies she was thinking that she would be working in arts & culture.

Then she went to Berlin to work at Startup Guide with the Erasmus program right after her graduation. She continued to stay at the company after the internship, during that time she learned about the entrepreneurship ecosystem and later ‘’saving the world’’ business through social innovation and SDGs. When she realised she couldn’t commit to Berlin for a long time, she returned to İstanbul. In June 2019 she started to work at imece. In her two years there, she worked in the entrepreneurship program, many projects and the imece summit. Nowadays while figuring out what’s next for her, she is working as a freelance project manager.
